The dry chemistry method used is based on the principles of reflected light photometry. The idea is to scan a test strip soaked in urine in the indicator zones with different LEDs of a specific wavelength. The results obtained are automatically compared with the reference parameters entered into the software, and then displayed on paper. The AM 2100 analyzer is easy to use and does not require special preparation of biomaterial for analysis. It is enough to follow a simple algorithm of actions:
- Read the instructions.
- Connect the device to the network. If necessary, connect to a computer.
- Dip the test strip into the urine sample previously selected, according to the general rules, for 3 seconds.
- Remove excess urine from the strip by touching it edgewise to clean filter paper.
